On February 28, 2003, I wrote a prayer in my journal that has
changed and shaped my life. It simply stated: God, work in me
so that I may be the best singer that I can for You. Make me,
mold me into the girl You dream me to be. At that time, I
hadn’t even written a song but I had a desire in my heart. God’s
fulfillment of that desire has been more challenging, heartbreaking,
and frightening, yet more inspiring, exciting and wonderfully
breathtaking than I could have ever dreamed or planned. I
humbly thank God every day that He would trust me with this
gift.
